Auto Librarian™ Internet Catalog SE is software which allows Internet searching of the Auto Librarian™ SE Library Server book/item database on our Internet server. Book data and circulation status is uploaded from the Auto Librarian™ SE Library Server using options within the software.  AutoLib.Com Reference Desk is a platform for launching any type of Internet Search. With a one-year minimum service contract library patrons can search the database over the Internet conveniently from home, office, or library computers with Internet access. Auto Librarian™ Internet Catalog SE provides the highest level of service and convenience to patrons at a very low annual cost to the library.

FEATURES Easy to Use Auto Librarian™ Internet Catalog SE is designed to allow patrons to access the Auto Librarian™ SE Book/Item database and perform all other Internet searches easily over the Internet on their own home, office, or classroom computers or wherever there is a computer with access to the Internet by visiting our website: Autolib.com The Internet Catalog SE is a search only subset of the Auto Librarian.net software designed specifically and exclusively for the Internet. A bookcase menu lists all of the options available in the Auto Librarian.net program.  The options accessible by the Internet Catalog SE subset are Search Materials, eMedia Center Info (includes information about the library and Events Calendar) and Internet Research. Once at the library’s site patrons can Search Materials in their library’s Auto Librarian™ SE Book/Item database. The Auto Librarian™ Book/Item Database can be searched by Title, Author, Subject, Title/Subject, Callnumber, Combo (Title, Author, Subject, Publisher, Summary), eMaterials, Material#.  Two levels of searching are feature:any of these words or an exact phrase. The results of the search are listed in a grid format for easy viewing. This listing can be viewed on screen or sent to a printer. The form view lists all the book/item fields: Title, Author, Subjects, ISBN number, Summary, etc. as well as circulation status (IN, Out or Missing).  In addition the Amazon.com button adds a new dimension to the search providing a link to book reviews, more titles by the author, even excerpts of the work in some instances.   Access the Library Information page. The Emedia Center bookshelf accesses a Library Info button featuring a page with information about the library’s hours, address, phone number, lending policies, fine rate and other pertinent information about the library or its collection. Links to the library's home page and other important links are also located here. (This information is supplied by library personnel when ordering.)  Access the library Events Calendar.  Important information such as holiday closing dates and special events are listed here and updated by the librarian. An Internet Research bookshelf links to the AutoLib.Com Reference Desk.  The Reference Desk features educational links such as Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, Maps, Newspapers, Magazines, Journals, Electronic Books, Children’s Books, Reading Lists, as well as Quick Search links to various popular search engines such as Google, GoTo, and others as well as a College and Library Search link all available at the touch of a mouse button! This is the one website stop for any type of Internet research both for beginners and veteran Internet surfers!
